Consecration Day 9: Sept 11 (Wednesday)🩸

Message from Our Leader 🗣️

Bishop Jefferson reminds us that this is a time of divine separation, a time to humble ourselves and seek God’s face with a spirit of expectation. As we do, we can trust that God will meet us in a profound way, healing our hearts, renewing our minds, and positioning us to carry His fresh anointing into the next season of our lives. Let this be a time where we set aside every weight that so easily besets us, where we turn away from distractions and press into the presence of God with fervency and faith. ✨

📍Intercessor: Mother Lizzie Thomas

📖Scriptures: Galatians 3:13, Deuteronomy 21:23, Galatians 4:5

🙏🏾Prayer Point:  Father, break generational curses!

📝Key Points:

  1. Born Again to Break Curses
    1. Emphasize the importance of being born again to break generational curses.
    2. Acknowledge that Jesus died on the cross to free us from these curses.
  2. Generational Curses Handed Down
    1. Generational curses are often passed from one generation to another.
    2. Medical professionals ask about family history to identify patterns, but these patterns do not have to define you.
  3. God Breaks the Legacy of Curses
    1. Trust that God can break the legacy of generational curses.
    2. You don’t have to live under the law of curses (referencing Deuteronomy 21:23).
  4. Wanting to be Like Our Parents, Without the Curses
    1. It’s natural to want to emulate our parents, but without the negative aspects or curses that may have been passed down.

⛓️‍💥How to Break Patterns:

  1. Seek God’s Help:
    1. Ask God to guide you in breaking these patterns.
  2. Seek Professional Help if Needed:
    1. Don’t hesitate to seek professional help if necessary, but always turn to Jesus as the ultimate source of deliverance.
  3. Commit to Living for Jesus:
    1. Make a firm decision to live for Jesus Christ and not be bound by generational curses.

📌 Editor’s Note

  1. Identify and Renounce Specific Curses
    1. Take time to prayerfully identify specific generational patterns or curses in your family. Renounce them in the name of Jesus, declaring that they no longer have power over you because of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.
  2. Establish New Patterns Through Scripture and Prayer
    1. Replace old patterns with new, godly habits by regularly reading scripture and engaging in prayer. Focus on verses like Galatians 3:13 and Galatians 4:5 to remind yourself of your freedom in Christ. Make prayer a daily discipline to seek God’s help in maintaining these new patterns.
  3. Create a Support System for Accountability
    1. Surround yourself with a strong support system, such as a prayer group, church community, or a trusted mentor. This network can help hold you accountable, offer encouragement, and provide guidance as you work to break free from generational curses and establish a new legacy in Christ.
