A Message from Our Leader 🗣️
Bishop Jefferson reminds us that this is a time of divine separation, a time to humble ourselves and seek God’s face with a spirit of expectation. As we do, we can trust that God will meet us in a profound way, healing our hearts, renewing our minds, and positioning us to carry His fresh anointing into the next season of our lives. Let this be a time where we set aside every weight that so easily besets us, where we turn away from distractions and press into the presence of God with fervency and faith. ✨

📖Scriptures:Isaiah 53:4-5, Jeremiah 17:14, Psalm 147:3, Exodus 15:26, James 5:14
🙏🏾Prayer Point: Father, break infirmity!
📝Key Points:
- Divine Healing and Restoration:
- Scripture: Isaiah 53:4-5 – “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.”
- Practical Point: Pray and declare that through Jesus’ sacrifice, all forms of infirmity in the body, mind, and spirit are broken. We claim the healing that Jesus has already paid for on the cross.
- Rebuking Habits That Cause Sickness:
- Scripture: Jeremiah 17:14 – “Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”
- Practical Point: We rebuke any unhealthy habits or patterns that may have led to sickness. Ask for God’s wisdom and discipline to walk in health and wholeness, both physically and spiritually.
- Addressing Mental and Emotional Infirmities:
- Scripture: Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
- Practical Point: Pray for the healing of any emotional or mental wounds that the enemy may use as an entry point for physical sickness. Ask God to heal the ‘cracks’ that can manifest as physical ailments.
- Consistency in Faith During Sickness:
- Scripture: Job’s Example – Job remained steadfast in faith even through severe physical affliction.
- Practical Point: Like Job, pray for the strength to maintain consistent faith and trust in God during times of physical infirmity. Ask for God’s restoration as He did for Job.
- Breaking Generational Curses of Infirmity:
- Scripture: Exodus 15:26 – “He said, ‘If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.’”
- Practical Point: Pray for revelation and spiritual insight on how to preach against sickness and infirmity. Break any generational curses or bloodline issues related to infirmity, declaring that God is the healer and protector of your family line.
📌 Editor’s Notes
📍Misconception 1: “If I’m sick, it means I lack faith.”
Even the most faithful believers, like Job, suffered physical afflictions. Sickness is not always a sign of weak faith. Instill in saints the belief that their faith is not measured by their health but by their faith in God’s plan and timing (Job 2:10). Even in the midst of illness, faith is demonstrated by perseverance and trusting in God’s goodness.
📍Misconception 2: “Only physical ailments need healing.”
In Psalm 147:3 God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, reminding us that healing encompasses more than just physical health. Encourage the saints to seek God’s healing in every area of their lives, recognizing that infirmity can affect the whole person, not just the body.
📍Misconception 3: “Sickness is always a punishment from God.”
In spite of the fact that sickness is sometimes the result of disobedience or sin, not all illnesses are the result of God’s punishment or personal sin. Jesus has suffered our sicknesses and sins on the cross so that we can be healed and restored. Instruct the saints to see God as a loving healer who wishes to heal them, not as someone who inflicts pain without purpose.
