Consecration Day 11: Sept 13 (Friday)⛓️‍💥

Message from Our Leader 🗣️

Bishop Jefferson reminds us that this is a time of divine separation, a time to humble ourselves and seek God’s face with a spirit of expectation. As we do, we can trust that God will meet us in a profound way, healing our hearts, renewing our minds, and positioning us to carry His fresh anointing into the next season of our lives. Let this be a time where we set aside every weight that so easily besets us, where we turn away from distractions and press into the presence of God with fervency and faith. ✨

📍Intercessor: Evangelist Natori Darby

📖Scriptures: Proverbs 13:20-21 & Proverbs 12:26

🙏🏾Prayer Point:  Father, break unfruitful relationships!

📝 7-Point Checklist for Evaluating Unfruitful Relationships

As given by Minister Nasir I. Randolph

📍Does this relationship lead me closer to God?

    1. Scriptural Insight: Proverbs 13:20 – “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.”
    2. Mental Health Perspective: Consider whether this relationship promotes spiritual growth, peace, and positive behaviors. If it constantly causes you anxiety or pulls you away from your faith, it may not be fruitful.

📍Does this relationship support my mental and emotional well-being?

    1. Scriptural Insight: Proverbs 12:26 – “The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.”
    2. Mental Health Perspective: Relationships can contribute to mental distress, while healthy ones can promote emotional stability and growth. In order to determine if a relationship is healthy or unhealthy, take into account how it affects your self-esteem, stress levels, and overall emotional health.

📍Does this relationship encourage positive life choices?

    1. Scriptural Insight: 1 Corinthians 15:33 – “Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’”
    2. Mental Health Perspective: Assess whether this relationship influences you to make decisions that are in line with your values and goals. Relationships that lead you into harmful patterns and unhealthy habits are likely to be unproductive.

📍Does this relationship foster mutual respect and support?

    1. Scriptural Insight: Philippians 2:3 – “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”
    2. Mental Health Perspective: The foundation of a healthy relationship is mutual respect, support, and empathy. If the relationship feels one-sided, with little respect and support from the other person, you may want to reconsider its role in your life.

📍Do I feel more like myself, or less, when I’m with this person?

    1. Scriptural Insight: Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
    2. Mental Health Perspective: You should be able to express yourself authentically in a fruitful relationship. If you feel suppressed around the other person, this person may actually be stifling your growth instead of supporting it.

📍Does this relationship help me fulfill my God-given purpose?

    1. Scriptural Insight: Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
    2. Mental Health Perspective: A fruitful relationship is one that motivates you to stay focused and motivated on your purpose in life. Unfruitful relationships will distract you from following your calling and purpose in life.

📍 Is there a pattern of unresolved conflict or negativity?

    1. Scriptural Insight: Matthew 18:15 – “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.”
    2. Mental Health Perspective: An unhealthy relationship is one that is characterized by frequent, unresolved conflicts, as they can contribute to ongoing stress and negativity damaging to mental and emotional well-being.
