Consecration Day 15: Sept 17 (Tuesday) šŸ„¹

AĀ Message from Our LeaderĀ šŸ—£ļø

Bishop Jefferson reminds us that this is a time ofĀ divine separation, a time to humble ourselves and seek Godā€™s face with a spirit of expectation. As we do, we can trust that God will meet us in a profound way, healing our hearts, renewing our minds, and positioning us to carry HisĀ fresh anointingĀ into the next season of our lives. Let this be a time where we set aside every weight that so easily besets us, where we turn away from distractions and press into the presence of God with fervency and faith. āœØ

šŸ“Intercessor: Min. Marcus McBride

šŸ™šŸ¾Prayer Point:Ā  Father, show up in our decisions and give us wisdom!

šŸ“–Scriptures:James 5:7

šŸ“ŒWays to Surrender to God:

  1. Submit yourself to His will
    • Scripture: James 5:7 ā€“ ā€œBe patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lordā€™s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.ā€
  2. Prayer
    • Prayer that is consistent and heartfelt will lead to surrender.
  3. Study the Bible
    • Allow Godā€™s Word to guide your decisions.
  4. Spend time with a faith community
    • Itā€™s important to surround yourself with like-minded people during a weight loss journey, just as it is during a fitness journey.
  5. Trust God
    • Have faith that God is in control and that His path for you will be revealed when the time is right.
  6. Recognize your need for God
    • Recognize that you cannot do everything on your own and that Godā€™s presence is essential.
  7. Repent
    • Scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:14-16 ā€“ ā€œIf my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.ā€
