Consecration Day 8: Sept 10 (Tuesday) ⛓️‍💥

Message from Our Leader 🗣️

Bishop Jefferson reminds us that this is a time of divine separation, a time to humble ourselves and seek God’s face with a spirit of expectation. As we do, we can trust that God will meet us in a profound way, healing our hearts, renewing our minds, and positioning us to carry His fresh anointing into the next season of our lives. Let this be a time where we set aside every weight that so easily besets us, where we turn away from distractions and press into the presence of God with fervency and faith. ✨

📍Intercessor: Mother Pierce

🙏🏾Prayer Point:  Father, break our distractions!

📖Scriptures: Hebrews 12:1-2

📌Understanding Distractions:

– Distractions can come in many forms, even in small things like noticing a fly while reading scripture.

– It’s important to recognize these distractions and take steps to stay focused on God’s word.

📌Being a Light in the World:

– When God places something within you, it enables you to be the light in the world.

Reference: Matthew 5:14-15 – “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.”

– Consider the metaphor of salt losing its savor, which emphasizes the importance of maintaining your spiritual influence and purpose.

📌Prayers:

Forgiveness: “Help us to forgive those who have done us wrong.”

Fresh Anointing: “Anoint us afresh, God, to pray through Your word.”

Encouragement for Leaders: A special prayer for every leader who feels discouraged and questions, “What’s the use?”

Practical Application Points

👉🏾Daily Prayer and Meditation: Begin each day with prayer and Scripture meditation to center your mind and heart on God and stay focused.

👉🏾Setting Boundaries: Identify where distractions commonly occur (e.g., social media, excessive entertainment) and set boundaries, such as avoiding these areas during specific hours or limiting time spent on them.

👉🏾Prioritizing Your Time: Ensure that your most important spiritual commitments (prayer, Bible study, church activities) are prioritized throughout the day. Be intentional in how you spend your time to reflect your commitment to God.

👉🏾Accountability and Fellowship: Surround yourself with like-minded believers for support and accountability. Joining a small group or having a prayer partner can help you stay focused on your spiritual goals.
