Thrive In ’25: Day 18🙏🏾

A Message from Our Leader 🗣️

Bishop Jefferson reminds us that this is a time of divine separation, a time to humble ourselves and seek God’s face with a spirit of expectation. As we do, we can trust that God will meet us in a profound way, healing our hearts, renewing our minds, and positioning us to carry His fresh anointing into the next season of our lives. Let this be a time where we set aside every weight that so easily besets us, where we turn away from distractions and press into the presence of God with fervency and faith. ✨

📖 Scripture: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” (Ephesians 4:2)

🙏🏽Prayer Topic:Breakthrough in Relationships

đź“š Prayer Focus:Pray for healing and breakthrough in your relationships, that God would restore and strengthen them

✨ Reflection: Restoring Relationships Through Christ

Mother Vickie Boughknight began by emphasizing the privilege of being in a relationship with Jesus Christ, underscoring the importance of cultivating our connection with Him first. She highlighted Paul’s declaration in Ephesians 4:1, where he calls himself a “prisoner of the Lord,” showing total submission to God’s will as foundational to relational breakthroughs. 🙏

Mother Boughknight reminded us that we can’t expect breakthroughs in relationships with others if we are not first grounded in Christ. True healing begins when we invite the Holy Spirit to guide our interactions and confront unresolved issues with humility and love. 💞

🔑 Key Points

  1. đź’ž The Priority of a Relationship with Jesus:

    • The first breakthrough we should desire is a deeper connection with Jesus.
    • “We can’t please God if we don’t want to talk to Him!”
    • Our relationship with Christ goes beyond feeling His presence—it’s about knowing Him and understanding His will.
  2. 🤝🏾 Unity in the Body of Christ:

    • “We are not islands—we are one people.”
    • Who we strive to be in Christ is directly reflected in how we treat others.
  3. ⏳ Patience and Meekness in Relationships:

    • “Patience is enduring without complaining.”
    • Meekness is “power under control”—choosing humility even when you could retaliate.
  4. đź’” Healing Broken Relationships:

    • “You can’t pray over broken relationships—you must confront the issue.”
    • Harboring unforgiveness only keeps us in bondage.
    • The Holy Spirit convicts us to seek reconciliation and address relational wounds.
  5. đź•Š Living in Love:

    • Love requires forgiving and letting go without keeping records of wrongs.
    • “If you still feel something negative when someone’s name is mentioned, you need to examine your heart.”
  6. ⚖️ Desire the Fruit, Not Just the Gift:

    • Don’t get caught up in spiritual gifts while neglecting the fruit of the Spirit.
    • “Leave your gift at the altar, get it right, and then come back.”

🙏🏾 Prayer Highlights

Mother Boughknight’s prayer was a powerful call for self-examination, repentance, and relational healing:

  • Conviction for Change:

    • “Help us leave our gifts at the altar and get things right!”
    • “Examine us and take out anything unlike You.”
  • Unity and Love:

    • “Gift us the strength to know we’re better together than apart!”
    • “Help us create relationships beyond people’s mistakes and love those who are difficult.”
  • Boldness to Confront Issues:

    • “Stop us from choreographing dances over unresolved issues!”
    • “Teach us how to confront broken relationships with humility and love.”
  • Spiritual Awareness:

    • “Even the earth is trying to tell us Jesus is coming back—help us swiftly ask for breakthroughs in relationships.”
